The thing about love...Love has arrived as nurturing and strong as the ocean. But at first it did not feel this way. It was a cautious little step on a path that little by little Esu has opened up for me after commitment was made the intention. After good will and commitment was proven. You recognize real love because it is not unaligned with your prayers. I remember in the past my prayers were full of confusion or sadness. It is not that I have not had difficult days with my partner where I had to pray for strengths to understand what was happening to us both. However, I always feel like my feet would fall into a rightful place right after my prayers. Both of us coming to the place of understanding. Before I definitely could not see this commitment, even from ex partners who treated me well. Always blurriness, cloudiness, even darkness.

One thing I have felt acutely is change. Change as I have never felt it before. Change that shifted me to a better version of me. Change that I had to change from the inside out - even more than I did before. Prior to finding love, I was guided to do significant changes. If that change to better myself, to heal myself, had not taken place, I would not have found love.

She has brought all the sweetness I have always yearned to have, dreamed of having, love having now. Every morning with a product of affection offered.

The thing about love is that you don’t set the rules, your soul does. It guides you in various ways to prepare for this person, to meet her, love her, and be the best for her. And when it is love, you are not just the best for the other person, but you become the best version of you for you. That is when you know love arrives. It is not only the old agreements from past long before this lifetime, or the fiery passions, or the lust. It is the small steps that open roads ahead. It is matched life plans. It is the ease in which you speak as if you were speaking to a sweet part of you. Maybe an even sweeter part of you. If you never had any models in the past, this will look very different. Your parents, if they did not give good models, could not have reflected purely the sweetest part of you, which is in themselves. The toxic takes over and you will not see it in them. But you will see it in her.

Tomorrow my love will celebrate one more year and I am so blessed that she was born into this earth. So blessed that she was made to fall on this path. I can tell because her timing, her tempo and her heart moved to have awaken exactly at the moment mine chose to do the same.
